Mr. Meza brings a diverse perspective to the practice of law. He began his professional career in the early 1990's as a sales executive orchestrating the introduction of U.S. products into Latin America, Europe and Southeast Asia. While working to expand market share, Mr. Meza worked directly with Latin American, Southeast Asian and United States Customs concerning all aspects of the export and import of products into and out of the United States. Over the years, Mr. Meza has negotiated and managed several multi-million dollar contracts with major corporations in the United States and abroad. Additionally, Mr. Meza has owned and operated several companies involving insurance, telecommunications, and commercial products.
During law school, Mr. Meza was active in the schools legal clinic in the area of Immigration and Nationality Law. While at the clinic, Mr. Meza assisted with various programs including the Houston Refugee Pro Bono Project, Crime Victims Civil Legal Services Project, and Violence Against Women Project (VAWA). Moreover, Mr. Meza obtained important experience as a student representing immigrants in Federal Court. He was also instrumental in assisting clients seeking benefits under all aspects of family-based immigration. Furthermore, Mr. Meza assisted attorneys with representation in removal hearings, including providing consultation on remedies available before the EOIR and BIA. While studying law, Mr. Meza also gained invaluable experience while clerking with a prominent pharmaceutical and personal injury firm. His experience at the firm exposed him to Multi-District Litigation (MDLs) and allowed him to assist many victims injured by dangerous prescription drugs and medical devices.
Mr. Meza’s professional experiences enable him to deal effectively with various complex issues of law. He is an advocate who will fight to protect the interest of his clients and their families. He is passionate about his work and he believes in providing every person with the opportunities and safeguards which are encompassed within the United States Constitution.
